Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
myTourManager is operated by Mad Ladd Sounds ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the myTourManager website, web app and mobile and desktop apps (together, the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
Account information
When you create an account, you sign in with an email address and password, a one-time code, or your Google or Apple account. Sign-in is handled by Microsoft Entra External ID on our behalf. We receive your name, email address and a unique account identifier. We never see or store your password. If you use Google or Apple, we receive only the basic profile and email information you allow them to share.
Information you add
- Venue and artist claims: your role (for example owner, manager or booker) and any evidence you submit to show the profile is yours.
- Fan profile: if you choose to add them, your home city or approximate location and your favourite genres, so we can show shows near you.
- Follows: the venues and artists you follow.
- Booking requests: proposed dates, status and the messages exchanged between artists and venues.
- Profile content: descriptions, details and media you add to a venue or artist profile you manage.
Technical information
When you use the Service, our servers automatically record technical information needed to run and secure it: your IP address, browser or device type, the pages and features requested, and error details. The app keeps your sign-in session on your device (in browser storage or the device's secure storage) so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, and we do not sell your data.
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
2. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To provide the Service: showing venues and artists, managing claims, follows and booking requests, and telling you about shows that may interest you.
- To verify that people who claim a venue or artist profile are entitled to manage it.
- To keep the Service reliable and safe: diagnosing errors, preventing abuse and fraud.
- To contact you about your account, important changes, or messages related to bookings.
- To meet legal obligations.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the Service), and consent where we ask for it (for example, optional location for shows near you), which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Service and who process it on our instructions:
- Microsoft (Azure and Entra External ID): hosting, database, storage, monitoring and sign-in.
- Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with them.
- GoDaddy: domain name and DNS services.
Within the Service, information you choose to make visible is shared with other users. For example, a booking request and its messages are visible to the artist and venue involved, and verified managers may be shown on a venue or artist profile. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the Service, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
4. Public venue and artist information
To help venues and artists find each other, we seed venue and artist profiles from open data sources such as Wikidata and MusicBrainz, and from licensed event-data providers. This is mainly business information (names, addresses, capacities, websites). If a profile contains information about you that you want corrected or removed, or you want to claim it, contact us or use the claim feature in the app.
5. How long we keep it
- Account and content: for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must keep it for legal reasons.
- Server logs: about 30 days.
- Backups: database backups are kept for 7 days, after which deleted data is gone from them too.
- Booking records: a booking request involves another party, so after you delete your account we may keep that record without your personal details.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and US states such as California, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy in a portable format;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your account and personal information;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent; and
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email hello@mytourmanager.app from the address on your account. We'll respond within 30 days. We don't discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.
7. Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, access limited to the people and services that need it, and managed identities instead of shared passwords inside our systems. No service can be perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
8. Where your data is stored
The Service is hosted in Microsoft Azure data centers in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as our providers' Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU and UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service develops. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
